The Gray Insurance Company values its relationship with you. Protecting the privacy of the information we have about you is of great importance to us. We want you to understand how we protect the confidentiality of that information, as well as how and why we use and disclose it. The following provides details of our practices and procedures for protecting the security of non-public personal information about you, while you are our customer and when you are no longer our customer.
Confidential and Secure Environment
Gray encrypts all data in the Gray Online Data system with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. To support this technology, you need an SSL capable browser. Gray requires using a strong encryption, 128-bit browser. These browsers will activate SSL automatically whenever you sign on to your GOLD account.
We restrict access to your personal information to our employees, our affiliates' employees, or others who need to know that information to service your account. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information.
Access to your nonpublic personal information is limited to those employees who need to know that information to provide services to you, such as customer service personnel. We conduct internal audits of its business practices and procedures in order to protect your personal information.
Your Password and Other Security Issues
Your GOLD password is your key into your account. Your password should never be shared with anyone and your password should be changed periodically. You can change your password any time you like after logging in to the GOLD website.
Our password requirements, which facilitate online account security, are as follows:
- Your password must be at least 6 characters long.
- It can contain either numbers or letters.
