Michael Gray has over 30 years of leadership experience in the insurance industry. Since 1996, he has served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of The Gray Insurance Company, also known as “The Gray.” He led The Gray through the collapse of the oil industry in south Louisiana (1986) to its present position as a successful mid-size insurance company with an A.M. Best rating of A-, Excellent. The Gray has acquired or developed businesses under his guidance in the Title Insurance, Oil Production and Exploration, Technology Development, Real Estate Development, and Property Management Industries.
Michael is an active leader in the insurance industry and has served as Director (since 1995) and Chairman (since 2008) of the Board of the Louisiana Insurance Guaranty Association, Director of the American Insurance Association (since 2011), Director of the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America (since 2010), and Director of the Tulane University Family Business Center Advisory Council (since 2008). His prior appointments include serving on the Board of Directors at the Argo Group International (1999 to 2003), a global property and casualty, specialty insurance and reinsurance products provider, and Chairman of the Board of Family Security Insurance Company (2013 to 2015), a property insurance company. While at Family Security Insurance Company, his leadership resulted in a successful merger with United Insurance Holding Corp. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Sigma Capital Partners, LLC.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Methodist University, Michael completed the Tulane A. B. Freeman School of Business Executive Master of Business Administration.
He and his wife, Linda, have four children ranging in age from 10 to 30 and recent triplet grandchildren. Together they enjoy family time, travel, boating, skiing, hunting, health, and wellness.

Walter Gray is the Director and Executive Vice President of Gray & Company, Inc., the parent company of The Gray Insurance Company. In addition, he holds various executive titles for the subsidiaries of Gray & Company, Inc., including Executive Vice President and Director of The Gray Insurance Company and Chief Executive Officer of Delta Title Corporation.
In the insurance industry since 1975, Walter spent his entire professional career serving the Gray organization. As a licensed agent in Louisiana, he continues to maintain primary oversight of the company’s agency relations. In 1990, he was selected to attend a Lloyds of London training class for overseas insurance companies.
Walter attended Loyola University of the South. Since 1996, he has served on the board of Delta Title and he is an active board member for The Foundation at East Jefferson General Hospital.
He and his wife, Tamberly, have two sons, Denver Gray, III and Martin Gray. Their family enjoys traveling, sailing and hunting.

Eric Gray has served as an executive for Gray & Company, Inc., and its subsidiaries for over 27 years. Currently, he serves as the Chairman, Vice President and Director for The Gray Insurance Company as well as the President and Director of its parent company, Gray & Company, Inc. In addition, he is President of The Gray Exploration Company and The Gray Oil & Gas Company and President and Director of Gray Matter, LLC.
Eric has over 21 years’ experience as a licensed insurance agent in Louisiana. He attended Texas Christian University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance.
With a passion for popular science, Eric, along with his brother, Michael, led a team to research, implement and make use of multiple technologies on various aircraft and maritime vessels to compete in the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Grand Challenge in 2005 and in the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge.
Eric and his wife, Janel, have three children, Olivia, Eric, Jr. and Tyler. As a family they enjoy traveling, skiing, hunting, and boating.

Robert M. “Bob” Hughes is the Director and Treasurer of The Gray Insurance Company and its subsidiaries. He is also the Director and Chief Financial Officer of Gray & Company, Inc.
Bob started his career at Gray in 1977 in the computer department before transitioning to his current role in accounting. After earning his Bachelor of Business Studies and Master of Business Administration from Tulane University, he became a licensed Certified Public Accountant for the State of Louisiana.
Active professionally, Bob serves on the Financial Advisors committee of the Property Casualty Insurers Association and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also affiliated with the Society of Financial Examiners and works with several nonprofit associations including the YMCA Camp Jorn and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Bob also served on the Financial Services Committee for the Louisiana CPA Society as well as the Louisiana Task Force on codification implementation. Bob lives in Metairie with his wife, Alice.

A native New Orleanian, Mark attended Tulane University before starting his career at Gray in 1978. He enjoys jogging and live music. He also serves on the board of Greater New Orleans Drum Corps Association, a local nonprofit that supports young people in the performing arts

Paul Boudreaux is the Chief Operating Officer of The Gray Insurance Company and a member of the Budget, Risk, and Compensation Committees for Gray & Company, Inc. He specializes in transitional and turnaround periods, goal-oriented daily business operations, fiscal accountability and profitability, client stabilization, and employee retention and loyalty.
Prior to joining Gray, Paul served as Chief Operating Officer for Delta Title Corporation where he led the transformation of Delta’s operations resulting in improved efficiencies, revenue growth, and gains in profitability. In addition, while serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Family Security Holdings, LLC, Family Security Insurance Company, and Family Security Underwriters, LLC, he led an operational turnaround that resulted in a successful merger with United Insurance Holding Corp.
A graduate of Tulane University, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
